Maternity pictures in studio have become some of my favorite sessions. I love outside maternity sessions as well, but I love the soft natural light we can capture inside my studio. It’s all about the belly and having mom and the rest of the family interact with their unborn child before he/she is ever born. There is something so special about it and I just love being a part of it. Behind the scene, of course.

I met this family a few years ago when I had the honor of doing Vivian’s newborn pictures. I was thrilled to work with them then and I’m even more ecstatic to be working with them yet again. This time, for a little Boy!!! Vivian is going to be a great big sister and I know Kristin and Ryan are ready to welcome baby Evan into their world. Baby Lillian | McDonough Newborn Photographer

Getting to be a newborn photographer has been a dream of mine. I’ve always loved taking pictures and when I entered the world of newborns, there was no turning back. I love everything about them. From their tiny little toes and fingers to the sweet noises they make. Capturing theses moments are special. They will never be this little again and freezing that moment in time is critical to me. Okay, maybe not life threatening critical, but Important, none the less. 🙂

Baby Lillian came to see me in the studio a while back and I wanted to share her pictures. I remember her session like it was yesterday. She wasn’t the easiest baby and made me work but I love my job so a little bit of sweat doesn’t bother me. 😉 Lillian’s mom and dad were here to watch me work as well as her proud grandmother. We talked and laughed throughout the session and they Ohhhhed and Ahhhhed as I took each picture. We had a great session and now three of Lillian’s pictures are displayed in her nursery as a Gallery Wrapped Canvas collage.

Princess & Super Hero Mini Sessions | McDonough Child Photographer

This is a fun way to capture your child playing and dressing up as their favorite Princess or Super Hero. We will start the mini session “out of character” or in the before clothes and change them into the final outfit by the end. Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty (and more) for the girls and for the boys; Superman, spiderman and Batman. I have a bunch of fun ideas and ways to set the scene. I am excited to do these. There is limited space. Book by the end of August and receive 2-8×10 pictures for FREE!!!!

Baby Kennedy | McDonough Newborn Photographer

I love all of my clients but I get extra giddy when they become repeat clients. I had the honor of doing big sister Keelie’s newborn pictures as well. I love seeing how much siblings look alike. Both of these girls are gorgeous. Good thing their daddy is a Local McDonough Police officer. I know he will be sure to keep the boys away when they get older.

I was so excited when Nikki told me she was pregnant with her second baby. The beauty in this family doesn’t stop with the girls. Getting to work with them over the last 3 years has been so much fun. I am looking forward to seeing them again soon for more sessions.
