I say it all they time but I love photographing babies from newborn up through the first Year, and beyond. Watching them grow and seeing how much they have changed each time they come to my Studio. Evan is now half way through his baby plan and I cannot believe it. He is always full of laughs and I love getting to chat with his mom during our sessions. She told me about the plan they have to display pictures of him from each session wearing an adorable bow tie. This will be so neat to see after we are done. His family will be able to look at them every day for years to come and see how fast they really grow within that first year.

Adding simple small props can add a little variety to the pictures and capturing those precious facial expressions is so fun!!!

Buford Newborn Photographer| Baby Jace

What makes this photographer happy??? Repeat Clients, for one!!! I have had the pleasure of working with this family and other members of their family for the last 3 years. They are some of the sweetest people I have ever met. So, when i found out the Jennifer (a great name, huh??? haha) was pregnant with her third, I was so excited.

We didn’t know each other when she had her oldest, Jaelyn but I have photographed her several times during our other sessions and I have to say, she is an amazing big sister. Jaxton, was the first newborn I photographed in my new studio 2 years ago. Now, they were back again with baby #3, Jace!!! He was so easy to work with and slept so good for me. I was so happy with the way his pictures turned out, I even put one of them up in my office as a large portrait display.

Atlanta Maternity Photographer | Katie 28 weeks

I was so excited when I found out Katie was pregnant again with her third baby. Our families have known each other since before we were born. I guess this happens when you live in a small town. Hampton sure does have it’s life-long residents. Katie and her husband, Chad, make the cutest babies ever!!! So I just know baby Ayda Lane will be nothing but BEAUTIFUL!!!

Katie came to the studio this past week to take her maternity pictures. She has the most gorgeous eyes and beautiful smile that always lights up the room. I was excited to use our bed set up… it’s always a favorite. We also used two beautiful new maternity gowns I recently purchased from Roses and Ruffles and from The Art of Pregnancy and Newborn.

We took Katie’s maternity pictures a little sooner than usual but that was because she is most comfortable at this stage in her pregnancy. I always tell new clients that they are typically done around 28-34 weeks, however we can do them as soon as your are ready and when your belly is nice and round. I have done maternity pictures as early as 26 weeks and as late as 39 weeks. We all have different things going on in our lives but the most important thing is, documenting this special moment so you will have it for years to come to share and enjoy. Atlanta Maternity Photographer | Alex 36 weeks

I had a great time when Alexandria came to the studio for her Maternity session. She is such a beautiful mama and I knew right away we’d have a wonderful session. She was up for anything and I love all the different sets and poses we were able to get.

We talked about her baby boy that was on the way and I knew from hearing her talk, he was already loved so much. Knowing I was going to meet him in a few short weeks was so exciting.

Maternity sessions are so much fun. Prepping the moms on what to bring for their session and going over all the items I have in the studio for them to use, it’s like playing dress up. Every mom is different and wants a specific look to their sessions. I am happy that I am equipped to provide these type of images for them and that will have them to cherish for years and years.
