I was honored when this family contacted me to schedule their newborn session.  It was a surprise for Page from her mom as a baby shower gift.  Melainie came by to tour my Studio in Hampton and to ask a few questions.  We have a lot of mutual friends and clicked right away.  After meeting and talking to Page, I knew this was going to be a photoshoot for a Princess. I couldn’t wait to meet baby Kennedi.

We talked about so many ideas and what all we wanted to do.  Page mentioned that she had been one of the brides on the TLC TV Show, Say Yes to The Dress.  I knew right away she wanted to do something with the dress she had chosen and wore in her Wedding. After playing dress up and doing a few family shots, we captured a few pictures of Kennedi laying on her mom’s wedding gown.  (praying the whole time she didn’t potty on it, LOL). We pulled it off without any accidents.  This was my first session where we incorporated a wedding dress and I have to say,  It was awesome.  I’m so glad I was able to capture this memory for this family to have for years to come.
